What was the case of Meghalaya murder?
King Raghuvanshi went to Meghalaya on a honeymoon trip with his wife Sonam in May 2025. He soon went missing, and his wife and his wife were discovered. On June 2, his severed body body was recovered from a deep gorge near a waterfall (also known as Cherrapunji) in the Sohra area in East Khasi Hills district.
The police have arrested eight people, including Sonam- the main accused and his suspected lover, Raj Kushwaha. Three accused have been granted bail.
