Ahaan and Sunil Shetty celebrates Team India’s thrilling victory over England at Oval

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty and his son Ahaan Shetty celebrated Team India’s thrilling victory over England directly from the Oval Stadium in London.

On Monday, the father-son pair took them to their Instagram handle, and shared a joint post characteristic of the stadium’s photos and videos, with the winning moment.

He wrote in the caption, “2 incredible days in the Oval! What is the game and what is victory! Come to India, always my India”.


Both actors went to watch the match to give their support to Team India opener KL Rahul. The cricketer is married to Sunil Shetty’s daughter and Ahaan’s sister, Athiya Shetty.

Team India level the series against England with the final Test match, as it defeated its opponents by 6 runs.

The legendary pacer Jasprit Bumrah was rested for the final test, Siraj took over the reins of the Indian pace attack, and took 4 wickets in the first innings. India batted first in the innings, and scored 224 runs before all out. Only Karun Nair managed to score in half a century from Team India as he scored 57 runs with 109 balls.

India lost the early wickets in the first innings, and continued to struggle with speed. While the Indian inaugural pair of Yashsvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul flew in the first innings, the initial pair of England’s Zak Crolly and Ben Docket performed an impressive performance, Zak scored 64 runs and Ben settled for 43, before they were sent to the pavilion.

Harry Brook emerged as a top scorer for England with 53 out of 64 balls in the first innings. England gained 23 runs lead.

Team India tightened the grip for both their batting line-up and bowling attack in the second innings, and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored only 2 runs in the first innings, turned on the Beast Mode, as he scored 118 runs with 164 balls in the 2th innings. His early partner KL Rahul, however, could score only 7 runs.

This time, Team India also saw three half centuries from Akash Deep, which was the dark night – Ravindra Jadeja of the Indian cricket team and the dark knights of Washington Sundarr.

India took the lead, and scored 396 runs in the second innings. The early England pair met with fierce attacks by the Indian Paes Artillery, Zak Crolly was sent back to 14 runs, as his partner Ben Docket scored 54 out of 83 balls.

Joe Root and Harry Brook stood on the occasion with the support of Harry Brook as the two hit tons, but were limited to a narrow margin, as India won the game by 6 runs.

Siraj, who remembered his seniors Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, emerged as a leading wicket for India in the slip cordon.

The leveler game serves as a huge morale boost for the new generation Indian Test team.
