Ranbir Kapoor as Mukesh Khanna Ram: ‘Can’t sure that he can pull Merida Parashotum’

Mukesh Khanna, Brahida and Bhishma Pitama have been celebrated in Bri Chopra’s legendary ‘Mahabharata’ TV series, hoping for Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming ‘Ramayana’ adaptation. His approach opposed Om Raut’s more important stance on 2023 blockbuster ‘Edipurash’, which was starred by Prabhas as Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana.

Mukesh Khanna plays Ram on Ranbir Kapoor

Khanna believes that Ranbir Kapoor is a talented actor that is favorable for the role of Ram, but in 2023, Sandeep Reddy, a polarization family crime directed by Wanga, accepts Chhaya by Animal, the last film of Family Natak Kapoor.

“They are showing that Rama is climbing trees and shooting arrows. Krishna or Arjun can do so, but Rama will not do so. If Rama declared himself as a warrior, he would never ask monkeys to help them. He was enough, he was enough, a man against Ravana,” I insisting on his vision of Mirthi Nayak.

He said, “What I can see, I don’t know that Ranbir Kapoor can pull Ram’s Maraida Parashotum image. He is a good actor, but he has an image that follows him, and he is an animal. I don’t mind it. He can do it.”

Khanna recently revealed a mixture when he tried to share his concerns about Ramayana’s portrayal in Ramayana: introduced on social media. He said, “I explained my objection to upload a two-minute video to upload on my social media … but I was incorrectly informed by my team that the scene is not real, but AI-generated by YouTubers,” he explained to Galata India.

When asked about Rambir Kapoor’s selection of Ram, despite the open entry of the actor’s beef, Khanna took a practical stance: “I said I will not comment. He must have eaten beef, let it happen.”

Mukesh Khanna on Ramayana

Despite his reservation, Khanna is carefully optimistic about the adaptation of Tiwari’s two-part, but warns of loss in view of Bollywood’s recent efforts to re-create Epic.

He said, “There may not be a bigger subject than the Ramayana. But I have seen how they have dropped the chutney from the adipures. Now, someone else is making it. If you make it with the same attitude, today’s Hindus will not save you,” he said.

Khanna also emphasized the importance of material on star power, which was attracted by his own experience with Shakitan: “Ramayana is not made of Rs 1,000 crore. It is made of material. As Shikhaan is not made up of stars, but if you work to a star in a newcomer, to make sure that you do not even do it. Ramayana?”
