New Delhi: Actor Swara Bhaskar recently argued that “we are all bisexuals” and admitting that he is a crush on Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav. The Ragajna actress has now reacted to backlash by updating her bio on X (East Twitter).
Swara responds through her bio
Attracting both criticism and conversation on social media, Swara’s comment quickly went viral. On Friday morning, he addressed the discussion with the post: “Thought it’s time to change the bio (Gigling to Egoji).”

Then he updated to include his X bio: “Girl Crush Advocate.”

The “Girl Crush” tag is seen as his response to discussions about her comment and her clear confession on MP Dimple Yadav.

Swara Bhaskar’s statement: “We are all bisexuals”
In an interview recently with the screen, with her husband Fahd Ahmed, Swara said: “We are all bomamily. If you leave yourself, they are all bomamily bisexuals. But ignorance is an ideology that has been placed inside us for thousands of years, because it ends mankind. Therefore, it’s ideal.”
He said that heterogenesis is not just a natural orientation, but also a social construction reinforced on generations.
When asked about her current crush, she immediately replied: “Dimple Yadav,” saying that she had recently met the politician.
Jokingly, Swara also commented that her statements could endanger her husband’s political career in Maharashtra.
Swara and Fahd Yatra
Swara and Fahd were recently seen on reality shows Pati Patni and Panga, hosted by Munwar Farooqui and Sonali Bendre, where celebrity couples face challenges to test their relationship dynamics.
The couple recorded their marriage on 6 January 2023 under the Special Marriage Act, and publicly announced it on 16 February 2023. He welcomed his first child, daughter Rabia in September 2023.
