Los Angeles: Lily Collins starrer ‘Emily in Paris Season 5’ hit a tragic road with a sudden demise of a team member.
According to people, Diego Borella, an assistant director of the show, died at the age of 47. Borella fell on the set of ‘Emily in Paris’ in Italy, where the entire team is currently present for the fifth season filming.
Preparations were made for a final scene inside Hotel Denley in Venice when Borella was declared dead.
The medical staff on the set attempted to revive Borella, but he died on the spot. Later, a local doctor confirmed his demise, saying that he suddenly “caused a heart attack”.
People said that the shooting of ‘Emily in Paris Season 5’ has been suspended due to the incident.
Diego Borella is a famous Venice professional, trained in Rome, London and New York. He has also worked in visual art and literature. Borella recently arrived in Italy to shoot the show.
An official update has not been received from the manufacturers.
