New Delhi: Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav paid tribute to the late Union Minister Arun Jaitley on his death anniversary in Delhi on Sunday.
Rajpal Yadav remembered Arun Jaitley on the anniversary of his death. Talking to the media, the actor said, “The kind of personality he had, he used to tell the children about the things necessary to move forward. I was personally connected to them in many ways, so I have come to pay my honor. I bow to him.”

Union Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to Arun Jaitley on the anniversary of his death and shared a post on ‘X’.
Recalling the former Union Finance Minister, Shah recalled his qualities of “sharp intelligence and an effective operation”.
Shah said that Jaitley contributed to strengthening the rule of the country and worked for the welfare of the people.
“Recalling Arun Jaitley ji on his best. A leader with a sharp intellect and an effective operation, Jaitley, contributed to strengthening the nation’s rule for the welfare of the people and dedicated himself to propagating the ideals and visions of the BJP. His unreliable commitment for public service will continue to motivate young leaders and political.”
The former Finance Minister died on August 24, 2019 at the age of 66.
Jaitley first became a cabinet minister in the government of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2000. He then acted as the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha since June 2009.
He was appointed Finance Minister in 2014 in the first term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi government.
As a Finance Minister, Jaitley broke several conferences, which by merging the railway budget with the general budget – to present the budget presentation on 1 February – to present a composite picture of the government’s financial photo.
It is due to these stops of conferences that the 2017 budget presented by Jaitley is remembered as a budget of several first.
Other such examples included the announcement of the Economic Survey 2016-17 on 31 January and going to the budget for the budget keeping in mind the Digital India pitch of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
