New Delhi: While Rajinikanth’s mass-action film Kuli dominates at the box office, Hrithik Roshan and NTR Junior’s High-octain Spy thriller War 2 are also getting stronger, Rs. 225 million milestones in India. According to data from the box office tracking platform Sacnilk, both films have emerged as the major hit of the season.
Cool box office collection
Cool, directed by Lokesh Kanagarj, added a significant rupee of Rs 11.02 crore on his second Sunday (day 10), which continues his strong run. On Saturday, the film earned Rs 10.5 crore, a jump of 79% from a collection of Rs 5.85 crore on Friday.

The film had already wrapped its first week in domestic earnings with a network of Rs 229.65 crore. With the second weekend boost, the total domestic box office collection of Cool is now in an impressive rupee of Rs 257.08 crore.

War 2’s eyes maintain speed as Rs 225 crore
On the other hand, War 2, YRF detective is the latest entry in the universe, continuously climbing the chart. In its second weekend, the film grossed Rs 16.85 crore in India, making its total of 11 days a total of Rs 221.15 crore.
Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, the film is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster war, starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. In War 2, Roshan played his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, a raw agent struggling with global threats.
The film also marks Telugu superstar NTR Junior to enter the YRF detective universe, including Kiara Advani, Ashutosh Rana and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. It has been appreciated for its intensive action scenes, international-prime scenes and chemistry between Roshan and NTR Junior.

Extension of YRF part of detective universe
War 2 YRF’s ambitious detective is the sixth installment in the universe, including one Thai Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathan (2023), and Tiger 3 (2023). Cinematic universe has become the foundation stone of studio strategy to develop mutual high -budget action films with recurring characters and crossover.
Box Office Battle: Coulie vs War 2
While both films have performed well, Kuli currently leads the box office race. It has left War 2 behind in total domestic income of about Rs 36 crore by day 11.
