Mumbai: Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan revealed that it took six months to design the iconic ‘Krrish’ mask to suit his superstar son Hrithik Roshan, and since the wax mask melts after a few hours, he had to run an AC bus in the clock round during the shoot.
It was during Farah Khan’s visit to his beautiful mansion in Khandla, where Rakesh talked about the mask. For Vlog, they also went to Arbi Fry.
Farah asked Rakesh how long it took him to design a mask, the filmmaker said to him: “It took about six months because we were designing and wanted to see that who looks better on Hrithik … outfits and all took six months.”

He also revealed that the iconic Black Crush outfit was very heavy.
He went to share more information about the mask and said: “The mask was out of the wax. Hrithik wore a mask for three to four hours. The wax would melt. It would have to be removed and put in a new. So I had an air conditioned bus with AC for 24 hours.”
Krrish was first released in 2006. The Indian superhero action film included Hrithik Roshan in a dual role in a dual role with Priyanka Chopra, Naseeruddin Shah, Rekha, Sharat Saxena and Manini Mishra. This is the second installment in the Chris franchise and the sequel to Koi… Mil Gaya.
In the film, Krishna Mehra, who has supernatural abilities like his father Rohit Mehra, falls in love with Priya and chases her to Singapore, where she takes Krrish’s superhero personality and wicked scientists Dr. The principles go out to thwart Arya’s plans, making a supercampy that reflects the future.
The third installment was released in 2013. It was in April 2025, when “Krrish 4” was announced. Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan made his first announcement with ‘Krrish 4’ under the direction of Hrithik Roshan, as he had passed and nurtured a franchise baton in the last 22 years.
The film is being produced by Yash Raj Films in collaboration with Rakesh Roshan. Indian superstar Hrithik Roshan will be swinging between the two departments of Disha and will act for the film as he is an essay of the title superhero in the franchise. The shooting of the film is scheduled to begin early next year.
