New Delhi: The auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi was marked on 27 August this year. Across the country, Bappa’s idols were brought home by devotees and prayers. Like everyone, our Bollywood celebrities also immersed in devotion to God and welcomed Bappa’s house completely between dance and drum beats. As part of his annual ritual, Arpita Khan and Ausha Sharma brought Ganpati Bappa Idol home and the ceremonies kick-off with great pomp.

Superstar Salman Khan shared a clip on Instagram, where he can be seen performing Ganpati Aarti before his mother, Salma Khan and father, Salim Khan. It also gives a secret in the pistachio green and a secret in the royal Bappa idol sitting among many flowers. First, Salma Khan performed Aarti, followed by the actor’s father and veteran lyricist Salim Khan.

Salman Khan wore a black shirt and beige pants, performed Aarti and prayed to Lord Ganesha. The clip had a Ganpati song in the background. This was followed by Salman Khan’s brother -in -law and the remaining members of his family, including Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Alvira Khan, Alije Agnihotri, Arpita, Ayush Sharma and his sons Ahil Sharma and his sons Ahil Sharma and Ayat Sharma.
Bollywood couple Ritish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Suza, along with their children, also participated in Ganesh Chaturthi festival with Salman Khan and his family.

Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10-day festival, where millions of devotees gather in famous Ganpati temples and pandals to receive the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
