Krish remembers how a local Salim worked in the direction department for 18 days. “He was translating my instructions for junior artists into Odia. I then asked him to become an assistant director.” Experience, they say, was humble. “People on the hills, with their natural survival skills, are a revelation.”
Some crew members camped upwards to install equipment for sunrise shoot at night. “Anushka, Vikram, and others will arrive around 4.45 to 5 pm, and we will start work. It was beautiful.”
Krish is fascinated by places. Shooting on real sites also helped maintain authenticity. “We used only visual effects to be beautiful only which was already beautiful.”
A ghazal
Krish’s last feature film was Konda Polam (2021). By stopping, he was busy as the creator of some web series.
