Actor Lakshmi Menon, three others booked for alleged kidnapping of Kochi Teki

Young actor Lakshmi Menon, known for his roles in Malayalam and Tamil films, has been booked by Ernakulam North Police, along with three others in the case of alleged kidnapping and attack of an IT employee in Kochi. Three accused, Midhun, Anish and Sonmol have been arrested and sent to judicial custody, while the Kerala High Court stayed the arrest of Ms. Lakshmi till 17 September on Wednesday (August 27, 2025).

The case was registered on Monday (August 25, 2025), on the basis of a complaint filed by Aluva, an IT employee, Aliyarsha Salim. According to the FIR, the alleged incident of kidnapping and attack disputed the city once on Sunday (August 24, 2025).

Ms. Lakshmi, while demanding a pre-gounded bail to the High Court, said that the complainant had insulted her and the Sonmol managed to register the case for fear of arrest to the complainant.
