Actress Sara Ali Khan attended the Ganga Aarti at Dashshwame Ghat in Varanasi on Saturday. The ‘Kedarnath’ actress was seen worshiping Maa Ganga amid the voice of bells and drums and chanting of mantras. Fellow devotees were also thrilled to see Sara in a simple ethnic wear with minimal ethnic makeup.
Sushant Mishra, president of Ganga Seva Nipi, and other officials welcomed the ‘Love Aaj Kaal’ actress with one Angavastra and Prasad. For those who do not know, Sara has participated in Ganga Aarti several times with her actress mother Amrita Singh. Sara is often seen at religious places like Kedarnath since the beginning of her acting in 2018.
While some admire her for embracing her maternal roots, others criticize the Nawab to visit Hindu temples despite coming from her family. Giving back the trolls, Sara said that she does not want to see things through the lens of religion and caste included in the society.

Talking about her professional commitments, Sara will be seen sharing the screen with Ayushman Khurrana for the first time in the upcoming romantic comedy “Pati Patni and Woh 2”. The primary schedule of the sequel is going on in Shragraj (formerly known as Allahabad). The shooting team was recently interrupted for the drama after facing major resistance from the local people.

If the reports were to be believed, some members of the crew were allegedly beaten by the locals allegedly stimulated, causing panic on the set. Although the cause of the crack is not yet known, this incident has expressed concern about security arrangements during shooting in public places.
