Pune: Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon on Thursday visited the historic Shrimant Bhusaheb Rangpal Mandal of Pune and prayed and performed ‘Maharati’.
He shared his experience and also prayed for the protection of people in flood affected areas, including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.
During the Aarti, the actress was also seen playing Manjira and flowing to the tunes of devotion, a lot for the pleasure of the devotees.

After the darshan, he talked to the media and shared his experience, saying, “I have prayed to Lord Ganesha that all the people of our country, and I am not only talking about humans, but all living beings are safe,” she said.
He said, “People are welcoming Lord Ganesha with great loveWhen I came here to visit and also visited the museum of this mandal, I came to know that this tradition has been going on for about 134 years. I also saw history here. In fact, these days, history is hardly taught to us, but after coming here, my eyes opened. I learned about the origin of Ganesh Utsav. It is very important to tell our future generations about history. I consider myself lucky that to come here, Lord Ganesha had a philosophy, and to learn about his history. ,
Expressing concern over the recent incidents of floods and cloudbukes, the actress said, “I have prayed for everyone’s safety, especially what is happening in other states like Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. I also appeal to all those pandals, each of them should help people in other states who are upset.”
