New Delhi: Netflix has released a trailer for one of its most anticipated titles of the year, directed by Bollywood’s BA *** DS, who is directed by Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan. The series is scheduled to premiere on September 18, 2025, and is already creating mass discussion for its compelling story and a host of celebrity cameo.
Story
Katha follows Asman Singh (starred by Laxman), which is a wide -eyed newcomer with aspirations to make it big in the film industry. He is accompanied by his loyal friend Parviz (Raghav Juyal), lover manager Sanya (Anya Singh), and his assistant family, uncle Avatar (Manoj Pahwa), mother Neeta Singh (Mona Singh), and father Rajat Singh (Vijayant Kohli).

However, the trip to Asan through the magnificent world of Bollywood quickly gets gritty as he collides with the superstar Ajay Talwar (Bobby Deol) established after being cast with Talwar’s daughter Karishma (Sahar Bamba).
By adding to the mixture, clever manufacturers are Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhary) and Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi), who is desperate to recover his lost fame.

Star-staded cameo parade
The trailer shows some of the biggest names of Indian entertainment, including Badshah, Aamir Khan, SS Rajamouli, Karan Johar and Raghav Juyal. But the most talkeding moment is a tricky cameo by Shah Rukh Khan himself. In a humorous turn, his character is wrong for the rapper Badshah by Avatar of Manoj Pahwa, leading to a strange moment that makes a cheerful moment.

Fans can also look forward to the cameo by Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Disha Patani, and many others, making the series a self-awareness, high and climbing meta festival of Hindi cinema.
The music of the series produced in collaboration with T-series is characteristic of the compositions of Shashwat Sachdev, which contributes to Anirudh Ravichender and Ujwal Gupta. The first track is the changed wind, composed by Anirudh and sung by Arijit Singh and Amira Gill, has already been dropped and receiving traction. Another standout track, Tu Pehli Tu Last, has a vowel facility by Arijit Singh and is composed, manufactured and organized by Sachdev.
