With his all-American good look, Robert Redford, who died on Tuesday at the age of 89, was an eternal “Sundan Kid”, which was an American screen legend both in front of the camera and in the back of the camera.

After various television roles, his first major screen break was in romantic comedy Park barefoot (1967) Unlike Jane Fonda.

Indie guru
But Redford always played his role as one of its biggest achievements in starting the Independent Sunday Film Festival in 1985.
Hollywood’s professionalism and lack of diversity are designed to help filmmakers, it has promoted major independent directors such as Jim Jaramsh, Tartino and Steven Soderberg.
In 2013, Redford said that by chasing the Indie Path, he had ensured his existence in the film business.
“If I (Hollywood) had given to live in the system, I don’t know that I will come here now.”
At the age of 76, he returned to screen for one of the roles he played in the years, as a single performance in a Lost-at-C Yatsmanman all is lost (2013).
He also had a role in the superhero blockbuster of Marvel Studio Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and a cameo in its record-shanting Avengers: Endeme (2019).
In 2018, Redford said that the biggest change in Hollywood in his 60 -year career was the #MeToo movement, a “tipping point” he said that women and the industry’s attitude towards sexual misconduct would change.
The four children of Redford were with their first wife, Lola Van Wagonon, one of whom died as an infant.
She married German artist and prolonged girlfriend Sibel Szggers in 2009.
