Mumbai: The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) strongly condemned Pakistani cricketer Sahibzada Farhan’s ‘Gunfier’ festival, in which he kept his bat like a gun and a firing gesture. The Pakistani batsman gestured after scoring 50 in a recent match against India during the ongoing Asia Cup.
Taking a slow view of the situation, Aicwa reiterated its stance of not engaging with Pakistani citizens in any sport or cultural activities.
The body said in a statement that it has always maintained a clear and unrelated attitude that no Pakistani artist in the Indian film industry will ever be allowed. Any Indian filmmaker or producer who puts Pakistani singers, actors or artists will face a complete ban from AICWA.

This was followed by a line around Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanj’s film ‘Sardar Ji 3’, as said in a statement, “When ‘Sardar G3’ was made, actor -producer Diljit Dosanjh collaborated with Pakistani artists with Terror. Banned by us.
The body also imposed a ban on the film Abir Gulal and its makers and prominent colleagues, which was called “intentional, non-pervantic stance”.
It further mentioned, “When artists or producers normalize talent from a nation that openly supports terror, they reduce the sentiments of 140 million Indians and cheat our armed forces. We ask every patriotic citizen to unite, it is not about politics, it is about respecting the sacrifice of our soldiers”.
