The UK PM Kir Stmper met Rani Mukherjee at YRF Studio, announced a deal for shooting three major Bollywood films in Britain starting from 2026.

Mumbai: The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, the Prime Minister of the Kir Stmper, who is on a two -day visit to India, met Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee at Yash Raj Films Studio on Wednesday.


During his visit to YRF Studio, the UK PM also watched a film with Rani and Akshay Vidhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films.


In particular, according to a statement by the YRF, the leading film production company has made a deal to shoot three major presentations in the UK starting in early 2026, with the Prime Minister Kir Stper announced during the Yash Raj Studio visit in Mumbai.


“Bollywood is back in Britain, and it is bringing all jobs, investment and opportunity, showing the UK as a world -class destination for global filmmaking. It is really a partnership that is fate to unlock our business deal with India – to strengthen driving development, cultural relations and distributes to communities across the country,” PM said “PM Kerr Stuper.


Akshay Vidhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films, said, “Britain holds a very special place in our hearts and some of our most prestigious films, including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), were shot in this beautiful and incredibly hospitality.

“This is actually special to rule the YRF and UK filming relations in the 30th anniversary of DDLJ – a film that is synonymous with the UK -India relationship. Our company is currently creating the stage adaptation of DDLJ, which is re -involved in the UK. Infrastructure, technology and talent are very beautiful and we have our cultural relations with a country. Happy to deepen, which has always empowered us to achieve creative excellence, “said Vidhani.


The film was accompanied by a delegation of some of Britain’s biggest names in the film including the British Film Institute, British Film Commission, Pinewood Studios, Elosty Studios and Civic Studio along with PM Keer. The visit took place in India with the 20th anniversary of Yash Raj Studios.


Culture Secretary Lisa Nandi said, “UK and India’s film industries are actually globally, which entertain the Arabs worldwide. Given the strength of our regions and the deep cultural relations between our two countries, the partnership between Bollywood and British Studios makes a complete sense.


The statement said that the UK PM’s visit comes after Prime Minister Modi’s visit to UK in July, where the trade deal was signed and the new investment and export win were confirmed by about 6 billion pounds.
