Mumbai: The festival of lights, Diwali, is finally here! As Indians across the world celebrate this joyous occasion with love, sweets and lights, Bollywood and South film stars have also joined in to share their warm wishes with fans.
Mumbai: From Amitabh Bachchan’s adorable message to Allu Arjun’s festive post, celebrities too have made sure to light up social media with love.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to his X account to share the pictures. One picture showed him waving to a huge crowd of fans outside his Mumbai home, while the other picture showed glowing lamps.
Along with the pictures, Big B also added a caption that read, “Wishing you a very Happy Diwali.”

Akshay Kumar also shared a warm message for his fans on his social media account. The actor wrote, “Har muskaan se roshan ho ye tyohar. (May this festival be illuminated with every smile). Wishing you love, light and laughter this Diwali.”
Hrithik Roshan also shared his wishes, writing, “I wish that love, light and positivity surround you and your loved ones. Happy Diwali, beautiful people.”
Soha Ali Khan posted a special Diwali photo on Instagram with the entire Kapoor family including Kareena and Karisma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Babita Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Reema Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.

In another picture, the actress is seen in a red dress with her brother actor Saif Ali Khan. Along with the picture, she also added a unique caption that read, “Not twins but twins.”
From the south film industry, Dhanush sent a heartfelt note in Tamil, saying, “May light spread in everyone’s life… may happiness abound, may wealth increase… have a very happy Diwali… Om Namah Shivay.”
Allu Arjun shared a picture on his social media account wearing a floral embroidered kurta and silk pants. He also wished everyone a “Happy Diwali”.
Jr NTR also wrote on social media, “Happy Diwali to you and your family members. Happy Diwali to all of you.”
Veteran actor Anupam Kher shared a simple yet powerful message: “Warm wishes and greetings to all of you on Diwali. Jai Shri Ram! Jai Maa Lakshmi!”
Diwali is a five-day festival that starts from Dhanteras. On the day of Dhanteras, people buy jewelery or utensils and worship the Lord. The second day is called Narak Chaturdashi. It is also called Chhoti Diwali or Chhoti Diwali.
The third day of Diwali is the main day of celebration. People worship Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi on this day and pray to them to bless them with wealth and prosperity.
