Hyderabad: The makers of director Buchi Babu Sana’s eagerly awaited action drama ‘Peddi’ on Saturday released actress Janhvi Kapoor’s look in the film and also announced that she has played a character called Achiamma in the action entertainer.
On Saturday, the makers, through the film’s official handle Peddi, shared the first look poster of Janhvi Kapoor and wrote, “The love of our #Peddi with a sassy attitude. Introducing the beautiful #JanhviKapoor as #Achiamma. #Peddi Global release on March 27, 2026.”
The makers released two posters of Janhvi Kapoor and described her character as fierce and fearless. In the first poster, Janhvi is seen standing on a jeep with her hands on her head and palms together. In the second picture, she is seen standing with her left hand on her head.

The film, which is scheduled to hit the screens on March 27 next year, has raised huge expectations among both fans and film lovers. Currently the film unit is shooting in Sri Lanka.
In fact, dance choreographer Jani Master, who has choreographed dance numbers for actor Ram Charan in the film and who was recently in Sri Lanka to shoot the film, had revealed that the hard work and effort that Ram Charan was putting in for the film was “absolutely phenomenal”.

Let us tell you that the unit of ‘Peddi’ had left for Sri Lanka a week ago. Sources close to the film’s unit had then confirmed to IANS that the shooting would take place over the next few days in beautiful locations of the island nation.
Produced by Venkat Sathish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, and eminently presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film is being set up on a grand scale.
It may be recalled that the unit of ‘Peddi’ had shot a grand song some time back involving 1000 dancers. The film’s unit shot the song on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi, when most others decided to take a holiday. The gorgeous song on Ram Charan was shot in Mysore and choreographed by Jani Master.
Sources say that the post-production work of the film is also going on simultaneously. The team is working tirelessly to keep the project on track as scheduled.
Ram Charan has done a complete makeover for his character. The stellar cast also includes Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in a powerful supporting role, along with Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma in lead roles.
