Sniper story, about the plot

The two-part film, Nishanchi, is based on twin brothers who have similar characteristics but completely different values – it is a story of brotherhood, betrayal, love and redemption set against the backdrop of crime and punishment. Part 1 introduces Manjari (played by Monica Panwar), a former trap sharpshooter, and her twin sons – Bablu and Dablu (both played by Aishwarya Thackeray), one fiery and ambitious, the other quiet and conflicted. Joining the gang of Ambika Prasad (played by Kumud Mishra), Bablu falls in love with Rinku (played by Vedika Pinto), the daughter of the man he once killed, turning his crime life into a battleground of crime and revenge. Part 2 continues this saga as Bablu seeks salvation but is pulled back into Ambika’s world, leading to an explosive ending where buried truths emerge and justice takes its course. With powerful dialogues, a captivating soundtrack and Anurag Kashyap’s distinctive story, Nishanchi promises to be an intense and unforgettable cinematic experience.

Director Anurag Kashyap shared, “Nishanchi is a story that has everything I love about Hindi cinema – emotion, intensity, chaos, action and a lot of drama. This is a very personal film for me and thus everything from its writing to the shooting to the characters has been made with utmost passion and purity. It is a family saga and while Part 1 delves deeper into the world of crime and the choices that define us, Part 2 It’s about punishment, redemption, and the price we pay for those choices. I’m extremely grateful to our cast, crew and the team at Amazon MGM Studios India for putting their heart and soul into bringing this story to life, I can’t wait for audiences in India and around the world to experience both parts together when Nishanchi premieres on November 14th.
