Mumbai: Directors Raj and DK are all set to bring another season ‘The Family Man’, And as always, he has tried to make it exciting and engaging for the audience. Actresses Nimrat Kaur and Priyamani shared how season 3 is different from the previous seasons and discussed their experiences of being a part of it.

In the series created by Raj and DK, Manoj Bajpayee plays the role of Shrikant Tiwari, a middle-class man living a double life as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional division of the National Investigation Agency.
Raj further added, “That’s why it took us four and a half years to do it. We’re not sequel people. I usually say that. We usually move on to the next new story. So that’s the hardest challenge for us. Writing the third season. And how do you keep it fresh? And that’s why it took us so long. Even creating the antagonist in the series took a very long time.”
Earlier in June, the makers had unveiled the first glimpse of the show. He also confirmed the inclusion of new faces like Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur. Meanwhile, this season sees Priyamani (Suchitra Tiwari), Sharib Hashmi (JK Talpade), Ashlesha Thakur (Dhriti Tiwari) and Vedant Sinha (Atharva Tiwari) returning in other lead roles.
Raj shared how the series is different in terms of characters and story, “You will see that the texture is different. You will see… I think the characters have also grown a lot. Manoj and Priya, they are not revealing too much. But they all have. Especially for them, it is very difficult to play the same character and be fresh again. So they have done an excellent job of taking the character further. And of course, Jaideep and Nimrat, they are… essential for The series has brought external freshness.

Nimrat, who has joined the show, shared her experience of being a part of it, saying, “I have never played a role like this in India till date. I think in life, what is called a femme fatale, we don’t know the backstory of it. Where is it coming from? Why is it so? I think Meera’s screen time is clearly placed in itself. We don’t know where it comes from. Why is that? What are her motivations? She is doing this. It’s a very strange place for a woman to be running a show that’s usually a very benign, James Bond-like thing. I thought I could do justice to how ruthless she was.”
Directed by Raj and DK, the third installment of the high-stakes espionage action-thriller series sees the return of iconic detective Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj Bajpayee, who is on the run with his family after being labeled as the “most wanted man” in the country.
