Mumbai: Television and Bollywood actor Ronit Bose Roy has announced that he will be taking a break from social media to focus on his personal growth.
The actor shared a long note on his social media account where he announced his break, breaking the hearts of many of his fans.
The actor said that he is working on finding a ‘new’ and better version of himself and for this he has to leave behind comfort and old bad habits.

The actor also revealed that although it sounds scary, breaks are much needed.
Ronit also mentioned that it will be a temporary break and he will return soon, leaving the comments section disabled on his Instagram posts.
He wrote, “Hello, what I am going to say will come from a place of love, understanding and humility. You all know I love you. I scroll through your posts, like, comment on your posts and reply to as many DMs as I can. I am extremely grateful for everything I have received. I appreciate everything. Especially the love and respect I have received from all of you, which I cherish and hold very close to my heart. I keep it.”

He continued, “However, I have reached a place in life where I have to forge a new path for myself and my family. A path that will hopefully make me better as a human being, in relationships, and as an actor. This path is one I have not walked before. Leave comfort and old bad habits behind. Take the jump and live outside the box. Scary… I know… but it needs to be done!”
The actor also said, “Complete digital separation is one of the key factors in me becoming mentally and spiritually stronger and finding someone new (hopefully you all will like it more). So, for the time being (unsure how long), please forgive me for not engaging on social media at all.”
Ronit also said that he will come back when he feels ready.
“Needless to say, it’s impossible to stay away from your love; so, as soon as personal goals are accomplished and better habits are acquired and practiced, I will be back. Please don’t forget me. Love you all, and God bless you all,” the post concluded.
On the professional front, Ronit Bose Roy was last seen in the mythological horror film ‘Maa’ starring Bollywood star Kajol.
He was also seen in the TV series ‘Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’.
The actor rose to fame as Mihir in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in the mid-2000s.
He was also famous for playing the role of Mr. Bajaj in the superhit TV show ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’ opposite actress Shweta Tiwari.
