He had earlier been admitted to hospital on 31 October for what his team described to Hindustan Times as a routine check-up, insisting there was “no cause for concern” and attributing the public panic to someone seeing him during his routine medical tests.

Responding quickly, Esha Deol publicly dismissed the misinformation and confirmed that her father is stable and recovering, urging people to stop spreading unverified news. She issued a strong statement criticizing “media overdrive”, writing, “My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for praying for Papa’s speedy recovery.” As the rumors spread, visuals later showed the family members arriving at Dharmendra’s residence.

Veteran actor Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Dr Rajiv Sharma told IANS that the star left the hospital “completely satisfied” after receiving the necessary treatment. He said, “Dharmendra ji has left the hospital with complete satisfaction. His family has taken him home. Everything has been arranged for him.”

ANI had earlier quoted close family members as saying, “Dharmendra will be treated at home under the supervision of a doctor in the ICU.”
