Avatar Fire and Ash worldwide box office collection, Day 4: James Cameron’s magnum opus struggles for stability.

Avatar Fire and Ash Worldwide Box Office Collection, Day 4: After a poor debut at the North American box office, James Cameron’s third Avatar film again had to rely on its overseas collections to survive its first Monday. Typically, Avatar films are based strongly on word-of-mouth and survive their first week, but Fire and Ash saw its first major decline, taking a huge hit to its global collections.

Avatar Fire and Ash Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 4: The third installment of the franchise released this weekend.

Avatar Fire and Ash Box Office Update

Avatar: Fire and Ash opened with an $88 million domestic debut and $347 million in global three-day sales. However, its earnings took a huge dip on Monday, as it collected only $13 million domestically. A 45% drop from Sunday to Monday meant the film barely crossed the $100 million mark. Even internationally, Fire & Ash added only $39 million on Monday, taking its international collection to $296 million. At the end of its fourth day of release, Avatar Fire and Ash has now grossed $398.7 million worldwide. It is the third-highest opener of the year, behind the record-breaking debuts of Zootopia 2 and Wicked for Good. However, Fire and Ash’s collection is less than what the franchise has anticipated so far. For example. Avatar: The Way of Water grossed over $500 million worldwide in its first four days. Fire and ash are more than 25% below that level.
