According to Drik Panchang, the full moon date of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month will start on March 2, 2026 at 5:55 pm and will end on March 3, 2026 at 5:07 pm.
On the day of full moon, Brahma Muhurta for bathing and donation will be from 5:19 am to 6:08 am.
Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12:27 pm to 1:14 pm. Both the auspicious times for bathing and donation are considered very important.
According to Drik Panchang, moonrise will happen at 6.44 pm on the full moon day.

2. Worship Lord Surya: After taking a quick bath, devotees worship Lord Surya (Surya Dev Arghya) to get blessings of prosperity and good health.
3. Recite Satyanarayan Katha: Devotees install the idol of Lord Vishnu and offer flowers, incense, lamps, food and apply sandalwood tilak, and read or listen to Satyanarayan Katha to ensure peace and prosperity.
4. Chanting and Prasad: Mantra chanting is also one of the important parts of the ritual, and recitation of Vishnu Sahasranama or chanting “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” is also an important part of the ritual.
5. Perform Aarti: Devotees perform aarti of Lord Vishnu to express their gratitude and seek his blessings, and during the puja offer him yellow fruits and flowers and prepare kasar or panjiri with panchamrit.
6. Offering Arghya to the Moon in the evening: Break the fast by offering Arghya on the full moon in the evening.
