Actor Tom Holland has shared an update about the trailer of his upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Tom teased an innovative and interactive campaign unlike anything we’ve seen before.
Tom Holland teases something unique for Spider-Man Brand New Day trailer
In the video, after introducing himself, Tom said, “We’re working on something incredibly exciting for the release of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer. It goes without saying that we’ve had so much love and support since the day we made these movies, and without that incredible community, there would be no Spider-Man.”
He also said, “We’re doing something that’s never been done before. Follow it up with the launch of Brand New Day around the world, and some of our great fans are going to help us release pieces of our new trailer… I’m turning it over to the fans. It’s all about community. It’s all about being together.”

Sharing the video, he captioned it, “No one can do it alone, not even Spider-Man. As the sun rises around the world, our Spider-Man community helps usher in the #SpiderManBrandNewDay trailer launch!” Responding to the post, a fan said, “Get ready man! Let’s live out this amazing fantasy!” One comment read, “I was expecting a teaser, but this is also great.” “So excited, can’t wait! This is new,” one person wrote.
The campaign features a first-of-its-kind global fan-driven trailer launch, where select fans from different regions will play a key role in the unveiling of segments of the highly anticipated trailer.
About Spider-Man: Brand New Day
The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Last December, Destin shared a post on Instagram thanking the cast and crew for all their hard work during the production of the film. He described the film as one of the most “rewarding projects” he has been a part of and shared how much this journey has meant to him.
Destin wrote, “I’m so grateful for the people who walked with me on the biggest, most rewarding movie I’ve ever made. To @nik__ki, for laughing through the madness and carrying our entire family on their backs. To my kids, for forcing me to put down my phone and get out of my head long enough to build a fort in the living room with the couch cushions. To our amazing cast, for breathing so much life into these beloved characters.” And for the incredible crew that worked tirelessly with unmatched creativity and craftsmanship that never stopped making me laugh. I love you all so much and can’t wait for the world to see your amazing work.”
The director praised Tom for his work in the film. Destin talked about Holland’s leadership, hard work and dedication both on and off screen. “And of course, to @tomholland2013, for your kind, generous leadership on and off screen, your tireless work ethic, your fearless performances, and your friendship. This is the finale of Spider-Man: Brand New Day!” He had added.
Apart from Tom, the film also stars Mark Ruffalo, who returns as Bruce Banner aka Hulk. Michael Mando returns as Scorpion, while Jon Bernthal joins the film as the Punisher. Sadie Sink is also part of the cast in a role that has not been shared yet. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon return as MJ and Ned, respectively. This film is going to be released in theaters on July 31.
