The character Jacqueline from The White Lotus is one of her recent performances. Discussing the role, Michelle Monaghan admitted that she was initially nervous about joining The White Lotus due to the similarities between herself and Jacqueline.
“To be honest, I was very nervous about doing the show. I was thinking I’m a Hollywood actress, so it feels a little weird playing someone famous, but obviously, she’s fictional. Mike played a very fun, colorful and vibrant woman, who was a great experience to play. She walks into every room and commands attention, and it was really very different from anything I’ve done before,” she said. told Woman’s World.
Monaghan also praised creator Mike White for his creative process and reminisced about filming the series in Thailand with the cast.
He added, “Collaborating with Mike, he’s just a genius. He writes every single episode; he directs every single episode. He’s also an actor, so he’s really great at understanding each of our processes. Also, getting to travel to Thailand and experience the adventure of a lifetime with talented actors who have now become lifelong friends. There was really nothing not to like about it, except for the mosquitoes. The mosquitoes were really harsh, but that series It was a very special experience to be a part of.”

During the conversation, Monaghan also revealed that Gabriel García Márquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of his favorite books.
What’s next for Michelle Monaghan?
Monaghan is set to play Tessa in the third season of Your Friends & Neighbors, “I’m going to be a part of Westmont Village, so I’m very excited about this project. I’m a huge fan of the show. I admire the cast, and they’re all incredibly talented and kind. I can’t share too much. My name is Tessa, and that’s all I can say,” she said.
She is also playing the role of a hockey coach in a Netflix show which will premiere in 2027.
In addition to acting, Monaghan has also partnered with drug-free sleep aid brand Natrol.
