Was Tom Hardy fired from Mobland? New report claims the actor is still in talks with the producers

actor Tom Hardy’s alleged rift with the producers of Mobland has become the latest talking point in Hollywood, with recent rumors claiming the actor was fired from the crime drama over behavior issues on set. However, now a fresh report suggests that Tom Hardy is still very much attached to the show, with the actor and producers discussing how to resolve their differences.

Mobland stars Tom Hardy as Da Souza, a fixer for a powerful organized crime family.

Tom Hardy hasn’t been fired yet

according to DiversityTom hasn’t been removed from Mobland yet. The report states that discussions are going on to find a way for Tom Hardy to return.

A source close to the production said, “Tom has not been fired, the door has not been closed on Season 3 and things are being worked on creatively.”

The outlet further claimed Guy Ritchie, who executive-produced and directed several episodes in both seasons of the Paramount+ series, is likely “pushing” David Glasser, whose 101 Studios produces the show, “to make it work.”

A production source said, “I’m sure Guy is probably pressuring David Glasser to do the job. Guy loves working with Tom.”

Meanwhile, amid the growing controversy over the actor’s alleged behavior on the sets, his co-star It appears that Helen Mirren has publicly shown support for Tom Hardy.

The Oscar-winning actor, who plays Maeve Harrigan in the series, shared a photo of Tom Hardy along with a heartfelt message on his Instagram. “Love you now and always,” Helen Mirren wrote, signing off simply as “Helen.”

What do we know about the alleged clashes?

Last week, multiple global portals including The Hollywood Reporter and Variety reported that Tom has been fired from the Paramount+ crime drama after two seasons. It was said that Tom was not asked to return to the series after initial issues with executive producer Jez Butterworth, 101 Studios and others.

A report from Puck News claims that Tom, 48, was consistently late to production during Season 2, repeatedly turned in script notes, changed dialogue and was upset with the cast, which included names like Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.

It was also reported that Tom’s alleged behavior almost caused Jez Butterworth to quit, leading to Paramount firing the Venom actor. Later, a report by The Hollywood Reporter claimed that the actor was uncooperative on set, often refusing to come out of his trailer for hours and keeping other cast members waiting.

This isn’t the first time Tom has clashed with colleagues on set. He infamously fell out with co-star Charlize Theron on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road, which director George Miller later revealed she “had to kick out of her trailer.”
