the film: moon my heart
release date: 22 May 2026

Star Cast: Lakshya, Ananya Pandey

What is the story of the film?
The story of this film is about Chandni (Ananya Pandey) and Aarav (Lakshay). The two meet in a college in Hyderabad, fall in love and Chandni becomes pregnant. Chandni decided to become a mother. Both get married. At first everything seems fine to them, but then life changes and everything falls apart.
What is not good?
Weak start: The first 30 minutes of the movie may disturb you a lot. The only thing that will come to your mind is who does that these days? Some scenes are seen without the head and legs.
Lack of chemistry: When Ananya and Lakshya’s romance is shown in the beginning, their chemistry does not reach the hearts of the audience. Camera moments also repeatedly try to pull the audience out of the film. In such a situation, when their pain is shown on screen, the audience does not sympathize with them.
Predictable Endings: The climax of the film becomes so predictable that it starts to get boring.
Story: The subject is good, but the story doesn’t seem realistic.
What is good?
Best Music: Sachin-Jigar’s music is good. Two songs from the film ‘Ishq Nibhawan’ and its title track set the mood a bit.
What is the acting like?
Lakshay has once again proved that he is a good actor. Especially in emotional scenes. When he breaks down on screen, his pain seems real.
Ananya should work on her acting. Ananya only looks beautiful on screen, but fails to enter the hearts of the audience through her character.
See or not?
The subject of the film is good, but it is not well portrayed. If Ananya had been replaced by a non-famous actress, the film might have been worth watching in theatres. However, this did not happen. You can wait for this movie to release on OTT.
