Trailer of actor Vishwak Sen’s upcoming action entertainer Gangs of Godavari The makers released it on Saturday. Written and directed by Krishna Chaitanya, the film will be released in theatres this week on May 31.
The trailer video begins with a voiceover that divides the entire society into three classes — inferior, arrogant and superior. We are then introduced to Ratna (Vishwak), a fearless, angry gangster from Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Glimpses of Ratna’s life show how he fulfills his political aspirations, how the officials plan to deal with him and how he strikes back.
We also see Ratna falling in love with actress Neha Shetty’s character in the film and marrying her. At the end of the trailer, Ratna contradicts the earlier voice saying that the world is divided into only three categories – women, men and politicians.
Gangs of Godavari It also stars Anjali, Nasser, Sai Kumar and Goparaju Ramana. The film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is edited by Naveen Nooli.
The film is produced by S. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under their Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners.
