Tajikistani singer and former bigg boss 16Contestant Abdu Rozik recently announced the news of his engagement. Soon after, the singer faced constant trolling, which led to Abdu releasing a statement to silence his trolls. Now his bigg boss 16 Co-contestant and close friend Sumbul Tauqeer has extended her support to him. Speaking to Hindustan Times, she said, “Abdu is a wonderful person. I have known him for a long time. He is one of the most hardworking artistes I know. It is sad that trolls are targeting him. Of course he deserves love and happiness. Why not? People who are trolling Abdu are jealous of his success and his achievements. I know he will shine even brighter.”
A few days ago, Abdu Rozik had revealed in a recent interview with News 18 that Salman Khan will be attending his wedding in Sharjah. Abdu Rozik, who got engaged to Amira earlier this month, told News 18, “Salman Khan called me. He said, ‘Congratulations on your wedding. I love you so much’. He told me that it was his wish to see me get married. He blessed me. He told me that he will come to my wedding and we will have a lot of fun.” Abdu Rozik announced his engagement to Amira through an Instagram post, although he did not reveal his fiancée’s face.
In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, Abdu shared details about his wife-to-be. “Her name is Amira and she is 19 years old. She is studying business administration at a university in Sharjah. She lives here and we will make our home here. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen,” Abdu told Hindustan Times.
Abdu’s wedding is set to take place on July 7 in Sharjah. Abdu did not reveal much about the wedding preparations. However, he confirmed to News 18 that many of his celebrity friends will be attending the wedding.
