Mandi: Actress Kangana Ranaut, BJP candidate from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi Lok Sabha seat, has expressed “heartfelt gratitude” over her imminent victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Kangana shared an emotional note on Instagram, saying “This victory belongs to the people of Mandi.”
The actress wrote: “Heartfelt gratitude to all the people of Mandi for this support, this love and this faith. This victory is of all of you, this victory is of trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and BJP, this victory is of Sanatan, this victory is of Mandi ke samman ki (Heartfelt gratitude to all the people of Mandi for this love and faith. This victory is of all of you. This is the victory of trusting Prime Minister Modi and BJP. This is the victory of Sanatan. This is the victory of Mandi.)
Veteran actor Anupam Kher congratulated Kangana for her victory.
Kangana’s victory is yet to be announced on the Election Commission of India website, but her victory is almost certain.
The actress is leading by 73,482 votes over Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh.
On Tuesday, Anupam shared a video of Kangana with his ex, with the song ‘Jugni’ from her National Award-winning film ‘Queen’ playing in the background.
The actor wrote: “Dear @KanganaTeam! Congratulations on your big win! You are a #ROCKSTAR. Your journey is so inspiring!”
