Athiya Shetty, who as usual jetted off to an undisclosed location with her cricketer-husband KL Rahul, recently shared pictures from her exotic vacation on social media. From serene views to delicious food, the photo dump showcased everything. In the first picture, Athiya can be seen wearing a multi-coloured sweater. She opted for a dewy makeup look and left her hair open. In another picture, she is seen enjoying a cup of coffee. Some of the pictures also feature glimpses of dogs and sheep. Captioning the post on Instagram, she wrote, “Change of scenery.”
Her post received love from her industry friends. Samantha Ruth Prabhu commented, “So beautiful.” Aditi Rao Hydari wrote, “Beauty.” Anshula Kapoor wrote in the caption, “Best.”
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul got married on January 23, 2023 after dating for about four years. Their wedding took place in a private ceremony attended by only close friends and family members. They took the wedding vows at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse.
Earlier this year, there were speculations that the couple is expecting their first child. The rumours started after Athiya’s father and actor Suniel Shetty said that he is ready to play the role of a grandfather. While judging the dance reality show Dance Deewane, he said, “Yes, in the next season when I come, I will walk on stage like a grandfather.”
However, a source close to Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul told HT, “There is no truth in this buzz. Sunil’s Nana comment was said jokingly and in a very casual manner. His comment has been misinterpreted by everyone. It was a fun conversation, Sunil said it as a joke. Now, even he is surprised at how his comment was taken by everyone. In fact, he did not want this buzz at all. It was unintentional. Many have not seen the full clip and are speculating based on the reactions of social media users. He is surprised by all this.”
Talking about work, Athiya Shetty made her Bollywood debut with the film Hero opposite Sooraj Pancholi in 2015. After this, she appeared in Mubarakan and was last seen in Motichoor Chaknachoor opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
