The love I have received all these years has been unconditional. Even today people give me the same love. Last month, Rohit Saraf spoke about what it feels like to step into Shahid Kapoor’s shoes. He told News18, “More than the pressure, there’s a lot of gratitude. Because I think this is an opportunity that not many people get and I don’t want to diminish it by putting that kind of pressure on myself. Everybody keeps talking about so much pressure, I think I should start taking the pressure because honestly, till now I wasn’t taking any pressure; it’s not like a remake of the first Ishq Vishk, it’s not a sequel to the first Ishq Vishk. The only thing that’s similar between the two films is that they belong to the same franchise. It’s a completely new story. It’s a love story about Gen Z, what they experience, and that’s quite exciting.”
