Ishq Vishk Rebound Review: Rohit Saraf’s film is nothing special, the actors’ acting is breathless, the story is dull.

Ishq Vishq Rebound Movie Review: Directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, Ishq Vishq Rebound starring Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Gibran Khan and Naila Grewal has released in theaters today. The film revolves around three best friends Raghav (Rohit), Sanya (Pashmina) and Sahir (Gibran), whose lives change completely after the ‘Ishq Vishk’ factor enters between them. As the title suggests, the film is about a breakup, patch up and rebound relationship. So, if you are planning to watch Ishq Vishq Rebound this weekend, read the full review to get a brief idea about the film.

the story

The story of the film starts with Raghav being scolded by his boss (Kusha Kapila) for not giving him a good story for his upcoming film ‘Ishq Vishq 2.0’. Talking to the camera, he takes the film in flashbacks to when he was in Dehradun, enjoying life to the fullest with his friends, Sahir and Sanya, who were actually in a relationship. The film portrays Sahir and Sanya’s relationship as a modern-day love story, with quick break-ups and patch-ups.

Since Raghav is their best friend and is emotionally attached to both of them, he plays a vital role in bringing them together every time after their quarrels. But one day, Sahir becomes disillusioned with his relationship with Sanya and under pressure from his strict father, decides to separate forever to pursue his career. After this, things change completely between these three and that is the crux of the film.

directing

In terms of direction, this group’s film also lacks. Punun Madhadhikari has tried to portray the main four characters but has not cast the magic on the big screen. The film is one of the shortest in terms of runtime, but parts of it seem very drawn out. The movie gets a little interesting only in the last 20 minutes, otherwise from the beginning to the interval and after the interval, it will bore you a lot.

acting

Apart from Rohit Saraf, the other two lead actors, Pashmina Roshan and Gibran Khan, will blow you away with their acting. Compared to Pashmina and Rohit, Gibran has less screen space in the film and apart from his good looks, you won’t be impressed by him at all. The only part of Ishq Vishk Rebound, which will keep you glued to your seats for a while, is Rohit Saraf’s screen presence. He is the focus of the film and the actor excels in his roles as friend, son and lover. Pashmina and Gibran, who are making their debut with Ishq Vishq Rebound, are clearly inferior to what Rohit and his character have given in this romantic comedy.

music

The music of the film will also leave no impression on the audience. Except for the reprising version of ‘Ishq Vishk Pyaar Wala’ and ‘Chod Dil Pe Lagi’, none of the other songs have the capacity to impress the audience. Since the film does not have any major twists and interesting scenes to impress the audience, the background score also failed to live up to the expectations. Overall, the music is just as avoidable as some of the main characters in the film.

conclusion

If you are planning to watch Ishq Vishk Rebound in theaters this weekend, you can easily avoid it and save precious 106 minutes of your life. Instead sit outside the college and enjoy the good atmosphere of ‘Ishq Vishk’. If you are a fan of Rohit Saraf, I suggest you watch his popular films The Sky is Pink and Hichki instead of the spiritual sequel of the 2003 film. Out of five, we give it 2 stars.
