Mumbai: Bollywood star Aamir Khan on Thursday confirmed his relationship with Gauri Sprat, revealing that they have been together for more than a year. The superstar, who will be 60 years old on Friday, introduced his partner to the media during an informal meeting and greeting program.
Khan said, “I felt that it would be a good opportunity for all of you to be a good opportunity, besides we will not have to be hidden. She met Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan last night.”
The actor said, “He is from Bangalore, and we knew each other for 25 years. But we were connected a year ago. She was in Mumbai and we met accidentally, we stayed in touch, and then all this happened systematically.”
Aamir first married filmmaker Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002. They share two children – Junaid and Ira Khan. In 2005, he married director Kiran Rao, but the couple separated in 2021. Despite their separation, they continue the co-appealite of their son, Azad.
In the event, Aamir also sang the song of ‘Kabi Kabi Mere Dil Meen’ from the 1976 Hindi film “Kabi Kabi” holding Sprat’s hands.
