New Delhi: Actor Aamir Khan is currently enjoying his latest release in theaters, the huge success of Sitare Zamin Par. In a notable gesture, he hosted a special screening of the film for President Draupadi Murmu, which at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Shortly after the screening, the President of India resorted to social media to share a picture with Aamir Khan, stating: “The appreciated filmmaker and actor Mr. Aamir Khan called President Drupadi Murmu to Rashtrapati Bhavan.”

Aamir and President Murmu posed for photographs and discussed the film with extensive aspects of the Indian film industry. For the occasion, Aamir wore a white kurta with jeans.
During his visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan, Aamir Khan also had a brief, unexpected encounter with the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Sharing his photo, the Chief Minister’s office wrote: “When Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visited Rashtrapati to meet the President, he had a brief encounter with sensitive Bollywood actor-director Aamir Khan.
A spiritual successor for its acclaimed 2007 film Taare Zameen Paar, Sitare Zamin Paar has continued the mine’s legacy of using cinema to raise awareness with real -life issues and promote emotional engagement. The film is widely praised for its heartfelt story and educational value. This special screening is another example of the art that adopt the art that promotes national dialogue and social understanding.
Presented by Aamir Khan Productions, 10 emerging stars have been introduced in the film: Aros Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Samvit Desai, Vedanta Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman -Mishra, and Simran Mishra.
Directed by RS Prasanna-which is known for the barrier-breaking Shub Mangal Savadhan-The-Film has marked his most important cooperation with Aamir Khan Productions so far. Sitare Zameen Paar acted in the lead roles to Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, along with the dress of new talents. The film consists of songs and music by Trikdi Shankar -Ehsan -Low by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The screenplay is written by Divya Nidhi Sharma.
Built by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, B. Shrinavas Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka were also serving as producers, Sitare Zamin Paar was released in theaters on 20 June 2025.
