Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has said that he has decided to release his game play ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ on Aamir Khan Talkies’ YouTube channel.
He said that doing so will help in reaching the widespread audience.
The film will be available on YouTube films from August 1, which is on demand at an accessible price, will leave other digital platforms completely. Its price will be Rs 100 in India and will be available in 38 other countries including the US, UK and Australia, along with prices according to local markets.
Speaking to ANI, Aamir shared the reason that he decided to launch a pay-per-view model through his new YouTube channel and how it would be beneficial for the audience.
“This is my attempt to reach more and more people in our vast country. Our films are released in theaters. The biggest hit of Hindi cinema is seen by 3-3.5 million people in theaters. Our 2-3 percent is seen with our population. It is for our biggest hit. We have many people.

Directed by Prasanna, it hit theaters on 20 June.
