Filmmaker Ianand L. Rai has expressed strong resentment over the re -release of his 2013 romantic drama Ranjana while acting Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor. Vikas is “deeply disturbing”, Rai revealed that the changed version of the film is the characteristic of an AI-Janit “Happy Ending”-it was re-released without his knowledge or consent.

In a emotional note shared on social media, Rai wrote: “The real and depth has been disturbed in the last three weeks. To see Raanjhana, a film arising out of care, struggle, cooperation and creative risk, should be replaced, and re -released, nothing has been reduced without my knowledge or consensus.

After the announcement of Ragajna’s re -release by Aeros International, the controversy erupted, with a new climax that was created using artificial intelligence to provide the audience with a “pleasant end”.
Several filmmaker, including Neeraj Pandey, Kabir Khan, Kanika Dhillon, Varun Grover, Renuka Shahne and Tanuj Garg, came out in support of Rai, a “immoral” label the decision.

Calling Raizna’s AI version “careless acquisition”, Rai said that it strips the work of its “intentions, reference and soul”.
He further said: “The idea that your work can be taken and modified by a machine, then can be designed as innovation, is deeply derogatory. To explore the emotional heritage of a film in a synthetic cape without consent, it is not a creative function.
