New Delhi: Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan is progressing in the cricket world with an important investment in the European T20 Premier League (ETPL). During his recent visit to Dublin, he demonstrated his participation in the Groundbreaking League, which was ready to revolutionize cricket in Europe.
Approved by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in January 2025, ETPL is a joint initiative by Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands, featuring six franchise teams from each country. It marks an unprecedented cooperation in European cricket.
From July 15 to August 3, 2025 with its inaugural season in Rotterdam and Dublin. ETPL promises T20 cricket action-pack for fans throughout the region. Meanwhile, Ireland’s Emerald Landscapes resonated with the St. Patrick’s Day Festival, which combines the enthusiasm around the launch of the league.
Abhishek Bachchan expressed his excitement about being part of ETPL, highlighting his enthusiasm for the project, “I am incredibly excited to be a part of the European T20 Premier League. This league represents a great opportunity to increase the game of cricket in Europe, but not even that I will show local talented.”
