New Delhi: Abhishek Bachchan sparked divorce rumours with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after he liked a post on marriage difficulties, however, it was later clarified that it had nothing to do with his relationship status with wife Aishwarya but the writer of the article was a friend of his wife.
As divorce rumours between Ash and Abhi have been doing the rounds for quite some time, this old video of the actor has again surfaced online where he is seen speaking to the media along with Ranbir Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan and answering the question about what advice he would give to the Animal star about marriage.
To which Abhishek promptly replied, “She doesn’t need advice. See, she decided to get married, he decided to marry her because they love each other, and that’s the only thing that matters. Love each other, respect each other… that’s all that matters.”
Ranbir interrupted and jokingly pointed towards Kartik, saying how they both must be advising him about marriage, to which Kartik replied, “They were saying don’t get married,” while Abhishek added, “We are true brothers, we take care of ourselves. Now we are planning for that.”
Abhishek and Aishwarya have been married for 16 years and the couple later celebrated their wedding by posting pictures on Instagram. On the professional front, Abhishek will be seen playing the villain in Shah Rukh Khan’s King, which will also star Suhana Khan in the lead role and will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
