Bhopal: Artists should try to improve their craft with each project, actor Abhishek Bachchan, who believes that it would be sad if there is no improvement in work over the years.
Abhishek, who will be seen in the next heart -wrenching story “Kalidhar Lapata”, is making a continuous effort to be better with each film.
“I think an actor’s latest job should be his best. It should be an attempt. If I have not made any difference or improvement in the work done 10 years ago and the work I am doing today will be sad. So I try to improve myself a little with every film,” the actor told PTI in an interview here.
Directed by Madhumita, “Kalidhar Lapata” has Abhishek in the title role of a middle -aged person struggling with memory loss and abandonment. He then meets an eight -year -old orphan Balu, who is alive on his own on the streets of India. Together, they go to a adventure work and find purpose in their lives.
“This is a very cute film. It’s about two friends … a Ballu and Kali,” he said about the film.
As an actor, Abhishek said that he tries to accept the positive quality of all the characters he has played.
He said, “Whatever film I do, I try to keep some quality of that character when the shooting is over,” he said.
Asked about his experience of shooting the film in Madhya Pradesh, Abhishek said it was “very good”.
“I will go to Mumbai and tell your friends that if you want to shoot anywhere outside Mumbai, then you should shoot in Madhya Pradesh. It’s great.” Abhishek, whose maternal home is in Bhopal, where his mother Jaya Bachchan studied, said that whenever he is in the city, he joins his family again.
“It is always good to come here because after finishing the work, we can spend time with the grandmother,” he said.
Abhishek was full of praise for the child actor Divic, who played Ballu in the film.
“I had to learn a lot from him. I will pray to make another film with him in future if he allows me,” he said.
Daiivik said he had a great experience working with an actor like Abhishek and director like Madhumita.
“Both taught me very well how to act. Earlier, I used to do theater, but acting in theaters and films. By working in this film, I came to know how to act in cinema.” Madhumita said that the film examines the subject of friendship and friends are required at every turn in life.
He said, “In this film, Kalidhar got Ballu. No matter how much he is in trouble, when Ballu comes into his life, there is happiness in his life. After meeting Ballu, Kalidhar’s life changes a lot,” he said.
Apart from this, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub, “Kalidhar Missing” will premiere on Zee5 on 4 July.
