New Delhi: Finally, the cat is out of the bag. Pakistani Hartthrobe Fawd Khan and Indian Leggy Las Vanani Kapoor have joined the army for ‘Abir Gulal’. The teaser of the film was unveiled on Tuesday and is packed with romance, which is the smell of a loving love story.

Wani and Fawad took to their respective Instagram, where they shared the teaser. This begins with the question “The last time you fell in love?”. It was then included in the car, singing “Kuch Na Kaho” by Kumar Sanu from the 1994 film “1942 A Love Story”.
The teaser has been captioned: “Waiting is over! Bringing love back on the big screen with Abir Gulal and @Fawadkhan81. A rich lens film @Aricherlens. Met in theaters on 9 May!”
Abir Gulal is starred by Aarti S Bagdi and is produced by Vivek B. Aggarwal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy. It is slapped for release of May 9, 2025.

Shooting for the upcoming entertainer began on 29 September last year in the picturesque background of London and was declared by the production house Indian stories. Last year, director Aarti S Bagdi gave a glimpse in the story and said that the film is about love and treatment.
IANS quoted Bagdi, saying: “The film examines the journey of two persons who unknowingly help fix each other, with love bloom as an unexpected result.”
The film is shot in the UK in October and November. A Bollywood music composer has already created 6 original tracks sung by Bollywood’s best music talent, reading a statement by producers.
It was in 2014, when one of Pakistan’s biggest stars, Fawad made his debut in Indian cinema with Shashanka Ghosh, a romantic comedy drama Sonam Kapoor-well ‘Khobasurat’. The film was based on the 1980 film of Issi. It also had names like Kiron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Hussain.
He was then seen sharing screen spaces with actors Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra in the 2016 family drama ‘Kapoor and Sons’ by Shakun Batra. His last big film with Bollywood was Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mukkil’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
Meanwhile, Vani was last seen in Akshay Kumar-condemned ‘Khel Meen’.
