Five people, including several actors, were injured when a car went out of control and overturned on MG Road in Kochi city around 2 am on Saturday, July 27, 2024. They were shooting for a chase scene in the car.
The incident took place during the shooting of the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Padmaavat’. Bromance Directed by Arun D. Jose and starring Arjun Ashokan. At the time of the incident, he was in the car driven by the stunt choreographer along with his co-stars Mathew Thomas and Sangeeth Pratap. None of them suffered any serious injuries and were discharged from a private hospital in the city after first aid.
A delivery boy of a food aggregator standing nearby was also injured. It is being said that while shooting the chase scene, the car went out of control and collided with another car, after which the car hit the delivery boy. According to initial reports, he was not seriously injured.
After the incident, the night patrol team of Central Police reached the spot.
Police sources said no one was seriously injured.
