Five months after his first film Aavesham ‘Released in April 2024, actor Mithun Jai Shankar received a call from Million Dollar Studio in Chennai, he asked him to go there Tourist Family. The film’s director Mithun and Abation Jeevantha spent one day a day, understood the plot and bounced the dialogues.
Tamil Feel-Gud Comedy is currently running in theaters. In addition to the storyline, it was an experienced artist, titled Sasikumar and Simran, who encouraged Mithun about the film that examines the life of an illegal Sri Lankan migrant family living in Chennai. Mithun was planted to play the role of Sasikumar and Simran’s son, Nitushan, a young adult who is from the family’s step of India. Film authorities, developing, relate to family efforts to find their feet at a new place.
“Even though I was excited, I was very nervous to talk to him,” says Mithun on a phone call from Mithun Kochi. “Simran Maam spoke mostly about Malayalam films, especially IngesomeAnd Sasikumar sir talked about doing the work of his experience OwnerHis Malayalam film. He told me how he tried to learn language by talking to people in Kerala, but he replied in Tamil. ,

Apart from what he had raised by watching films, Mithun had no experience in talking in Tamil. However, the actor took a step with the help of Abhishan. In addition, the character speaks Tamil in a Sri Lankan dialect, which was dubbed by Mithun himself. “I spent two weeks preparing for the role with emphasis on the bid. Unaccounted (Meaning you) Finger, Paceruthu (Meaning of speaking) KadhakiruthuEveryone in my ‘family’ was comfortable with their dialogues. They may be caused by their familiarity to the language. But I was not able to do so. They will play with dialogues, which I later tried, ”says Mithun.

The actor shared the great chemistry with Kamlesh Jagan, who ensures his younger brother Muli. Mithun says, “I spent most of the time with him. We also had an offscreen chemistry. He is more experienced as an actor and tells me fun stories from other sets. He has a lot like his character,” Mithun, who is also being appreciated for chemistry with a female character, after his offerings from the film.
Abation – who has played an important role in the film – he will showcase what he wants, the actor says. “However, at the same time, he will give me the freedom to find out the character and make it his own,” Mithun recalls.
Originally from Pujappura in Thiruvananthapuram, Mithun made a stellar debut for his acting life, in essay Bibin Ingesome Directed by Jethu Madhavan starring Fahd Fasil.
Mithun says, “People still call me Bibin a year after the release of the film. They come and talk to me. Many people saw that film in Tamil Nadu too, and I also got this role.”
A Bachelor of Statistics from Christ Nagar College in Thiruvananthapuram appeared in coaching classes for SSC exam after graduation. “When I was preparing for the exam, I quit coaching and started making reels,” says Mithun, “says Mithun, who later made a YouTube channel, Pujappuranam with some friends in his area. The channel, among other things, made a satirical video about developments in cinema. “The channel was the beginning for me as an actor. Earlier, as a child, I will shoot the scene as my model in my father’s keypad phone camera with my younger brother,” he says.
Mithun is currently discussing its next projects. “I just want to do good films, with a place to perform for me,” actor says.
