Actress Gehana takes legal action against Anurag Kashyap on controversial remarks about Brahmins Brahmins

Mumbai: Actress wheat Vasistha has taken legal action against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap after her controversial comments on the Brahmin community.

The actress filed a formal complaint at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai, demanding that an FIR be lodged against Kashyap for her comment, which had expressed widespread resentment. In his complaint, Vasis strongly condemned Kashyap’s statements, calling him derogatory and unfair. He questioned the words of his choice and criticized the filmmaker, which he had described as an derogatory attitude towards the Brahmin community.

In the complaint, he also suggested that such comments would not have been tolerated when other communities were directed and demanded that Kashyap be held accountable for his actions. A complaint has been filed against Anurag at Anand Vihar police station, as well as second place.

Anurag Kashyap has found himself entangled in a new controversy after the objections of the Brahmin community, who accused his film “Phule” of painting him negatively. In response to criticism, Anurag shared his views on Instagram stories, which quickly provoked the backlash. When read in a comment, “Brahmins are your father,” Anurag replied with a controversial remark, “Brahmin Pay Main M ******* A..yard problem (I will urinate on Brahmins … any problem)?”

An FIR was lodged against Anurag at Bajaj Nagar police station in Jaipur on his controversial remarks about Brahmins. The case was registered after Anil Chaturvedi, a resident of Barkat Nagar, a complaint was filed on 19 April.

The filmmaker later apologized for his comment, stating that he was standing with his statements, he regretted a special comment, which was excluded from the context. He also shared that his family, especially women, were receiving rape and death threats due to dispute and called trolls to prevent them from harassing them.

“This is my apology, not for my post, but for that one line taken out of reference and hate hatred. Any action or speech is not worth threatening to rape and death from the kingpins of your daughter, family, friends, and colleagues to rape and death,” Kashyap wrote.

Anurag also said that when people are free to direct their misuse on him, their family should not be drawn in this matter.
