Surprised by the sudden demise of director Vikram Sugumaran, who played an important role in the film ‘Madharai Kotam’, actress Viji Chandrashekar appealed to the people on Monday, asked him not to overwork himself or do not take tension on himself.
After knowing about the untimely demise of director Vikram Sugumaran, actress Viji Chandrashekar released a video statement, in which she said, “Vikram Sugumaran’s death comes in the form of a big shock. I have acted in her film ‘Madhayai Kotam’. It was a film that was very talented to me.
Saying that the emotional director called him two months ago to say that he was starting his next film in Thai’s Tamil month, Viji Chandrashekhar said that the director seemed very excited that he was bringing a very good script. The actress said, “I can’t understand what is happening to everyone. Those who are today are not yesterday,” the actress said, who was still clearly in a state of shock.
“I express my deep sympathy for all my family members and friends in the film fraternity. I still cannot believe,” she said.
The actress then appealed to the people. He said, “I want to say only one thing. I have recently felt that only those who are working day by day, are taking excessive stress on themselves, losing your life in this sudden fashion. You are all taking care of your health. I am very afraid. You are very afraid. You are very afraid. If you avoid them and give importance to your health, it will not.
Filmmaker Vikram Sugumaran, who is known for the debut by his critics, is known for ‘Mada Yanai Kotam’, died in Chennai on Monday after cardiac arrest. He was 47 years old. Sugumaran returned from Madurai after a manufacturer told a new script when he experienced severe chest pain. Although he was taken to a nearby hospital, the doctors were unable to revive him.
Sugumaran started his film career as an assistant to mythological director Balu Mahendra between 1999 and 2000. He later created a mark with ‘Mada Yanai Kotam’, which was appreciated by a serious rural drama for her raw story and social comment.
His most recent direction was the venture ‘Ravana Kottam’, starring Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in the lead role. Paying tribute to the late director,
Shanthanu took the social media platform X and wrote: “#Rip the most dear brother. I have learned a lot from you and always cherish every moment. You have gone very soon. You will miss. #Ripvikramsugumaran”.
