With less than 10 days left for the Ambani wedding, the buzz for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s lavish Indian wedding is in full swing. India Today has confirmed that Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh and Katy Perry performed at Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding party earlier this year. Report Adele, Drake and Lana Del Rey are reported to be in talks with the Ambani family to perform at Anant and Radhika’s wedding reception in Mumbai. Talks and discussions are currently ongoing
According to India Today sources, these singers might come to India to perform at the grand Ambani wedding ceremony scheduled between July 12 and July 14. They also informed that ‘talks and discussions are currently underway’ to secure the dates of these artists for the wedding ceremony.
International celebrities attend Ambani pre-wedding bash
The Ambani family is a master at throwing expensive parties. The family’s weddings and pre-wedding functions are known for their grandeur, and the two pre-wedding functions for Anant Ambani – the youngest son of Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani – and Radhika Merchant were no exception.
After the three-day lavish ceremony in Jamnagar in March 2024, the Ambani family hosted a second pre-wedding party for Anant and Radhika on a lavish cruise to Italy and the South of France. The four-day event, held from May 29 to June 1, was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and many other guests who were entertained by Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli, Pitbull, Guru Randhawa and the Backstreet Boys.
Earlier, during the first pre-wedding ceremony in Jamnagar, the likes of Rihanna, Akon, Diljit Dosanjh, Lucky Ali, Arijit Singh, Pritam and Shreya Ghoshal performed for the friends and family of the Ambanis and the Merchants. Interestingly, the Ambani family hosted the most expensive wedding ever in India for Isha Ambani in 2018, which reportedly cost $100 million and featured American singer Beyonce performing at the pre-wedding party in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

Anant and Radhika (both 29) are set to marry in a three-day Hindu ceremony in Mumbai from July 12. Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, along with his family, kicked off the grand finale of Anant’s wedding festivities with a mass wedding of 52 ‘underprivileged’ couples on Tuesday.
Anant and Radhika’s wedding will be a three-day affair and will have three events. ‘Shubh Vivaah’ will be held on July 12, followed by ‘Shubh Ashirwad’ on July 13 and ‘Mangal Utsav’ or the wedding ceremony on July 14.
