New Delhi:
After Operation Sindore, India confirmed last night that they successfully thwarted Pakistani drones and missile attacks for the purpose of military sites including Jammu and Pathankot. Stand-up comedian Samay Raina showed his support to the Indian Army like all other Bollywood celebrities. In another post, he shared about receiving an emotional call from his father, which is in Jammu.
Samay Raina shared that his father assured that everything of the Indian Army is under control.
“My father called me once from Jammu to call me goodnight.
“I know very little about him, it’s just how it is. I am surprised that if he is also a family in Jammu, perhaps in Pathankot or if he may not be a brave soldier who does not sleep tonight, I am waiting for the morning call from his father on the front lines. I am waiting for our safety for our safety.
Praising the Indian Army, he wrote in another post, “My prayer with everyone in Jammu. Sleep peacefully and believe in the Indian Army. Jai Hind.”

“Pakistan Armed Forces started several attacks using drones and other sages along the entire western border at night intervention of 08 and 09 May 2025. Pakistani soldiers also resorted to several ceasefire violations (CFVs) along with the line of control in Jammu and Kashmir.”
It said that drone attacks were effectively repeated, and a “terrible answer” was given by the army to violate the ceasefire. “The Indian Army is committed to the nation’s sovereignty and the protection of regional integrity. All nefarious designs will be responded with force,” he said.
Earlier, the army had stated that the drone aims at military stations in Jammu, Pathankot and Udampur, and all the threats were “rapidly neutralized”.
Meanwhile, India’s Border Security Force (BSF) attempted a major infiltration across the border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district.
