Veteran actress Saira Banu, who made headlines after suffering from pneumonia and blood clots in her calves, has shared a positive health update. The 80-year-old veteran revealed that the clots have dissolved and his condition has improved significantly. He also said that his focus moving forward will be to regain fitness and undergo physiotherapy. Saira Banu told, “I have improved a lot. The clots have dissolved. I have to keep myself fit and undergo physiotherapy. I am recovering very well and am fine now.” India Today Digital,
Saira Banu faced serious health challenges earlier this year, including mobility issues. The star’s PR team has now confirmed that her health has improved significantly and she is recovering well. Saira Banu’s PR team said, “She is fine now. All the above things have happened before, but she is much better now.”
Meanwhile, Saira Banu returned to the big screen in September with the re-release of her iconic film Neighbor. Directed by Jyoti Swarup and Jyoti Sarup, the film is known for its timeless story and unforgettable performances. To mark the occasion, Saira Banu shared a post on Instagram and expressed her love for the film, which is “incredibly close” to her heart.
The veteran actress wrote, “I was thrilled to know this Neighbor, A film very close to my heart is being re-released in theatres. This film is not only dearest to me, but a priceless piece of cinematic history that I believe a new generation should experience. It is a stellar performance by an extraordinary cast brought to life by Dutt saab, Mehmood Bhai, Kishore ji and many others.”
Saira Banu said, “The unforgettable Dutt saab, who humorously questioned the departure from his usual glamorous roles and the cast of the film including the wonderful Kishore ji made the experience truly memorable. There was so much laughter and camaraderie on the set that sometimes we had to stop the shooting because I couldn’t stop laughing.”
